Yeah, his second post was pretty bot-like, wasn't it. So the question is this then: Have the bots infected his brain, or has he infected theirs?

Ack, Cerb, why didn't either of you two follow the suspected bot back to their user's control pannel? If you did, you would of seen he put in an app. If you missed it, check it out here:

Now I can understand cerb doesn't check his guild toons (if he even has any, or plays anymore), but ack, come on. You should of seen an Areis running around and chatting in guild for a while. Bad, bad peanut princess!

I think you may have misunderstood me. I knew he wasn't a bot. I've seen him in-game so I didn't need to check his app. I was just commenting that his second post did appear bot-like, and so it's understandable that he might have been mistaken for a bot. Hence my comment about "Have the bots infected his brain, or has he infected theirs?" 
But, yeah, we're pretty thoroughly infested with bots here. I have no idea what they're after. They just like to post stupid crap that from time to time. They don't appear to be trying to sell anything. Whatever you do, though, I wouldn't click on any link they have in their posts.
