No one will probably read this, but I will post it anyway. In the expansion Your best bet for leveling from 70-80 is going Retribution specialization.

I may sound like I don't know what I'm talking about, but I do. I have beta tested Retribution, and can assure you that it is the best route. Though they did boost the damage ratio of Protection specialization (another good route). I know you are all skeptical about going Retribution because of the fear that you will get nerfed. I can also assure you that the worse thing that will happen is Blizzard will tone down our damage ratio a little bit. It is unfair that Blizzard revolves class balance around arenas, because that messes up the balance for people who solo and raid. That is the whole point of the game right; to quest and raid?

With that said, let me get to the fun parts.
Your spell line up will be fairly simple, but devastating. Blizzard has gotten rid of SotC so now you wont have to judge people in order to do extra holy damage! wewt! BoL is no longer available, it is built in as a passive blessing, meaning you will be healing for more if you are Holy specialization. They have replaced the spell "judgment" with 3 new Judgments; Judgment of the wise (increases mana regeneration equivalent to that of a priest). Judgment of Light (Chance on hit to heal the caster for 20% of the damage dealt, or something like that). And the third one I forgot but it gives you a chance to stun.

Many would say that it is wise to use the third Judgment for ret, but that is because they are noobz. It is actually better to use JoW, so that way you will never run outta mana. So generally you will cast SoC (has a better chance to Proc now, thank goodness) Then judge your enemy with that using JoW. You will then follow up using CS, and the very effective Divine Storm! Also, repentance can stun an enemy for 1 minute now, and in PvP it stuns your target for 10 secs. Holy wrath and Hammer of Wrath are now instant casts, and you can spec ret to make Hammer of Wrath a 100% chance to crit.

One more thing: When you cast a seal on yourself it lasts 2 minutes opposed to 29 secs, when you judge an enemy, you will not have to recast it on yourself. Sanc Aura is no longer available, it is now a passive ablility. And well....I'll leave the rest of the paladin goodies for all of you to play around with.

I really hope everyone who plays a paladin goes into a BG and rips a priests face off for their own gratification. Now, and for the rest of paladin history: We are a kick ass mother fucking Class!!!
Heh, as much as this is appreciated, I'll be sticking with holy.

Been holy since level 1, heh... I plan on sticking with holy.
You could always go ret on your blood elf.
hehe, already doing that
