website à la carte:

What you'll find on this page fits into two categories: Necessity and PDA (Pure Digitized Awesome). That is, if any given thing is not an absolute necessity to have on your computer, it'll at least give it a +1 to awesomeness. Do not be afraid, my child. Embrace the kilobytes.

  • Klingon on Frasier - There was an episode of Frasier in which Frasier, thinking Klingon was actually Hebrew, gave a speech in Klingon at his son's bar mitzvah.
  • Klingon Anthem - I'm not sure whether this should be a matter of pride or a matter of "something I should never mention outside of cons", but I have had this sucker memorized for years. I'll probably even sing it for you if you ask.
  • Aktuh and Melota - A love song from a Klingon opera.
  • Klingon Drinking Song - I dare a Terran to sing this while intoxicated!

  • TNG Answering Machine - This is my voicemail message.

  • Not MP3s

  • Skuld (406kb .zip) - This is a weird bunny-smashing game that could have come only from Japan. It's cool and quite addictive.
  • Tetrix 99 (93.4kb .zip) - This is a pretty decent Tetris clone.
  • PacoMon (897kb .zip) - A cute little puzzle game; guaranteed to have you bashing your head on the desk by the 15th level.
  • Warp Drive Calculator (10.7kb .zip) - Fun albeit useless program that will calculate warp speeds in meters per second.
  • Star Date (281 kb .zip) - This program may actually be of some use if you want to make your blog particularaly nerdy; it tells you today's stardate.
  • Klingon Klock (129kb .zip) - A mostly pointless program that speaks the time to you in Klingon. It's kind of cool.
  • mu' HaqwI' (115kb .zip) - mu' HaqwI' (Word Surgeon) is pretty useful translator & analyzer for the Klingon Language. I use it all the time. There's also an online version, which can be found here.
  • Star Trek Fonts (571kb .zip) - Here are most of the common Star Trek fonts, including many Klingon ones but not the one that I made. (You'll have to go to Mara's pIqaD for that!)
  • System47 (557kb .zip) - I've used this screen saver for years on account of its sheer awesomeness. It's undoubtedly the best LCARS saver I've ever seen. (compliments of MeWho.com)
  • Star Trek Cursors (373kb .zip) - My collection of Star trek animated cursors. 200 total.
  • Star Trek Icons (408kb .zip) - Likewise Star Trek Icons. 590 total.
  • Download Links

  • IrfanView - IrfanView is a very fast, small, compact and innovative image viewer that packs a punch. It's especially great for quick image ajusting/cropping. HIGHLY recommended.
  • TClock Light - TClock allows you to modify the clock on the taskbar in Windows, as well as the start button, start menu, and a few other pretty neat things. It also uses very little RAM.
  • 1st Page 2000 - 1st page is a free professional HTML/etc. editor with tons of useful features and a customizable interface. I found it very helpful before I became comfortable with coding in Notepad, and I still use it now and again for big projects. It's a good alternative to Dreamweaver, provided you only code; you won't get any of that GUI design crap with 1st page.
  • AntiVir Personal Edition Classic - This is a virus scanner & system monitor that's just as effective as the extremely pricy Norton or McAfee. However, this program is free. Also, interestingly enough, in my experience it's crashed a lot less than Norton.
  • Spybot: Search & Destroy - This is one of the best spyware scanners available.
